Meet Dr Brendan Xu
Dr Brendan Xu studied at The University of Sydney, where he was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Scholarship for his combined Bachelor of Advanced Science - majoring in neuroscience and physiology - and Doctor of Medicine degrees. After graduating as a doctor, he completed his hospital training across a range of specialties at Royal North Shore Hospital, Hornsby and Ryde Hospitals, and is now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Xu brings a calm, professional and non-judgmental manner to every consultation. He cares for patients at all stages of life and across the full breadth of general practice - including preventive health, vaccinations, children checks, chronic disease management, workers compensation and aged care. Above all, he values continuity of care, and considers the long-term relationships he builds with patients and their families to be among the most rewarding aspects of his work.
Outside of medicine, Dr Xu is a keen sportsman. While he enjoys watching sports, he enjoys playing it even more. A lifelong tennis player, but always trying new sports.
